Olofsfors Hires New Talent to Strengthen Market Position
In a time when industries are facing challenges, Olofsfors chooses to go against the tide by strengthening its marketing organization with the hiring of Alexander Bakshi as a sales representative in the forestry track segment.
Kjell-Erik Åström, Sales and Marketing Manager for the forestry business area, sees a need for a strategic enhancement on the marketing side to drive growth further and ensure continued success in the competitive forestry industry. In recent years, Olofsfors has consistently increased its market share, even as competition has intensified.
This new initiative will broaden marketing efforts and enhance internal expertise to address both current and future market challenges.
"We are proud of our successes so far, but we also see that the market is becoming increasingly complex and competitive. To ensure that we continue to grow and deliver value to our customers, it is important that we invest in our marketing side," says Kjell-Erik.
"With this initiative, we are well-equipped to meet the rising demand while solidifying our position as a leading manufacturer of forestry tracks."
With this reinforcement, the company plans to intensify its focus on both domestic and international markets, where new opportunities and partnerships have already been identified. Alexander will be an important part of this initiative.
Alexander is a new face in the forestry business and comes from his most recent role managing used vehicle sales at Bavaria Bil in Umeå.
"It feels incredibly exciting to jump into a new industry with such a prestigious company as Olofsfors. I look forward to getting out into the market and meeting all the new people," says Alexander.
Much-Anticipated Reinforcement
Olofsfors Group PWAB has around 330 employees and set a revenue record in 2022 with a little bit over 100 million Euro. This success is thanks to our robust network of subsidiaries in Finland, Germany, Canada, and Brazil, as well as distributors worldwide.
With steady annual growth, Olofsfors’ marketing department needs to be strengthened to continue delivering world-class customer service. Alexander's primary focus will be on service providers and the aftermarket in Sweden and Norway.
"A stronger team and expanded resources are key to our continued growth and our ability to meet our customers' evolving needs."
